Los Mercurys se aproximan

Los Nationwide Mercury Prizes que premian al mejor album del Reino Unido e Irlanda han anunciado ya a los 12 Álbumes Nominados para el año 2008. Estos premios son ampliamente reconocidos en el mundo de la música. Los nominados al álbum del año se anuncian en Julio de cada año y el ganador se da a conocer en la ceremonia a los premios en Septiembre. Los premios únicamente toman en cuenta la música de los álbumes. Algunos de los pasados ganadores fueron:
